Grieves and Budo

8:00 pm

Having spent nearly two years on the road touring in support of 88 Keys and Counting, Grieves found himself returning home to a fractured reality. Reeling from turbulence in his career and heartbreak in his personal life mixed with coming down from the high of the support he received on the road Grieves conceptualized Together/Apart, an album that would address the bond music creates between each of us as individuals and as a whole despite the many distances we experience be they geographical or emotional.

Mack N Biz

8:00 pm

Andy Mack and AJ Biz met as college freshman at UCSD in the Spring of 2007. They began to hang out, having a common love for music and good times. But the name “The Mack’N Biz” was not coined until Fall 2008 when the idea of the word play on their names suddenly came to them, “We are Andy Mack & AJ Biz, as in Mack aNd Biz but also our business or Biz is macking aka Mack’N”. But just recently, they decided to shorten their name to Mack N Biz. The two began recording together as soon as they discovered their mutual passion for music and started playing shows in the San Diego area as soon as they could. They have also opened up for nationally touring artists as well, such as Curren$y (Twice), Zion I (Twice), and Yelawolf to name a few. The two graduated from UCSD in June of 2010 and continue to reside in San Diego, California with plans to keep making music, and releasing it on a steady and free basis.
